Manager, Voice of Professionals

Mr. Arokiadass Savarimuthu joined PSDC as the manager of the Voice of Professionals Division in 2007.

He has 28 years experience in the civil service and has served with various ministries. Prior to joining PSDC, he served as the Malaysian Trade Commissioner in Vietnam and India under the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE). He has also served as the Publication Officer in the Ministry of Energy, Telecommunications and Post and as Head of the Publication Unit in the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI).

Mr. Arokiadass has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Universiti Sains Malaysia and a Master of International Trade from the University of Pondicherry, India. As manager of the Voice of Professionals Division, he is responsible for undertaking the liaison & advocacy role at PSDC through the facilitation of dialogue and interaction between professionals, associations, boards and the Government towards creating a conducive business environment.
