In the effort
to develop the capacity and capability of Malaysian
professional service providers, PSDC is collaborating
with Small and Medium Industries Development
Corporation (SMIDEC) to conduct SME Competitiveness
Rating for Enhancement (SCORE) exercise particularly
for professional SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises).
SCORE is a methodology formulated by SMIDEC
to measure and rate the performance and capabilities
of SMEs in several identified areas of business.
The audit conducted through SCORE will enable
PSDC & SMIDEC
to identify the areas of strength and weakness
in the company. With this information in hand,
the company can then be recommended either for
targeted assistance or for participation in trade
missions and exhibitions.
The information collected could also be used
as a major reference for PSDC to plan suitable
assistance
and development programmes in order to increase
the competitiveness level of Malaysian professional
SMEs not only in the local market, but also
in the global arena.
