Malaysian Services Exhibition (MSE) is part
of the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation
or MATRADE’s
ongoing initiatives to promote Malaysian services overseas
especially in service sectors where Malaysia has well-developed
expertise and capabilities and has begun to make inroads
into the international market. The need to continuously
be present in the West Asian region the enormous success
of MSE 2008 in Sharjah prompted MATRADE to organise
the second of the series of service exhibitions in the
Gulf
Region.
Malaysian Services Exhibition 2009 or MSE 2009 was held
from the 17th to 19th March 2009 at the Dubai Airport
Exhibition Centre, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. With
the participation of 194 Malaysians service provider,
the exhibition was divided into 13 different clusters.
PSDC was requested by industry players to be the cluster
leader for the Professional Services Cluster in which
24 companies and 4 boards and associations participated.
The 3 days exhibition attracted 3,521 visitors including
businessmen from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Iraq,
Syria, Jordon, Yemen, Lebanon, Bahrain, Kenya, South
Africa, and UAE. Malaysian exhibitors reported a total
value of RM8.41 billion worth in potential projects.
 
REGIONAL CONSTRUCTION WEEK 2009 (RCW 2009), 16-19 APRIL
2009
Regional Construction Week (RCW 2009) – Southern
Region was a platform to interact and increase awareness
among construction industry players on the challenges
and future direction of the construction industry in
the Southern Region of Malaysia. Themed “Bringing
The Industry Together”, RCW 2009 was the ideal
platform for PSDC to introduce itself. This 4 days exhibition
was organized by CIDB and was held at the Malacca International
Trade Center. The visitors for the event consisted of
manufacturers, entrepreneurs, professionals, students
and exhibitors.
