11TH INTERNATIONAL SURVEYORS’ CONGRESS “SMART GROWTH THRU’ SMART
PARTNERSHIP”, 18-19 JUNE 2009

The 11th International Surveyors’ Congress “Smart Growth Thru’ Smart Partnership” was a platform for surveying professionals to gather knowledge and learn through the experiences of others in order to further equip themselves to face the challenges of the current global market. This congress was held at the Crown Mutiara Plaza Hotel, Kuala Lumpur on the 18 & 19 June 2009 where PSDC participated in the conferences and the exhibition. The exhibition had been successful in providing visitors with an overview of PSDC’s roles and functions. It was a good step to brand PSDC as an agency that facilitates Malaysian professional service providers to export their services and as liaison for international investors who are looking for Malaysian consultants particularly professional service providers involved in the surveying sector.

13TH PACIFIC ASSOCIATION OF QUANTITY SURVEYORS (PAQS) CONGRESS, 17-18
AUGUST 2009

The 13th Pacific Association of Quantity Surveyors’ (PAQS) Congress 2009 was held from the 17 to 18 August at Crown Mutiara Plaza Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. This congress was a platform for distinguished professionals to gather to establish, strategize and create opportunities for the mutual development of their profession. A booth was set up for 2 days to promote PSDC as Malaysian Government machinery established to accelerate the capacity of Malaysian professional service providers and to prepare them for the challenges of liberalization and globalisation. The event also enabled PSDC to stress its relevance and importance in its role of capacity and capability building for Malaysian professional service providers.
